Keri Hilson is back with a new album that is just for the ladies. The album has been named No Boys Allowed with “Breaking Point” as the lead single.
“The song is about that breaking point that every woman gets to when the excuses given by boys are no longer accepted,” Hilson told pollstar.com. “If you’re not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving.”

Despite losing the Grammy Award for ‘Best New Artist’ to the Zac Brown Band and ‘Best Rap/Sung Collaboration’ to Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West for “Run This Town,” Keri Hilson still calls attending the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards a “dream come true.”
“What can I say? I AM in the BUILDING!! That alone is a dream come true…but I won’t lie my heart was poundin like hell!!!” Hilson posted on Twitter, describing her mixed feelings after losing in the ‘Best New Artist’ category. MGMT, Silversun Pickups, and The Ting Tings were also ‘Best New Artist’ nominees.
Though there are no upcoming Keri Hilson tickets floating around out there, she did just perform on Rachael Ray’s cooking show in late January.

It’s been an amazing year for R&B newcomer Keri Hilson, who had a very teary-eyed response upon hearing the news of her two Grammy nominations.
MTV reports from an interview with Hilson at the Grammy nomination concert where said she nearly cried, “I had to fight tears [from] welling up because it’s so much more significant than people can imagine.”
Keri received a nomination for Best New Artist, along with a mixed bag of acts including the Silversun Pickups, Zac Brown Band, MGMT and The Ting Tings.
The second nomination is in the category for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the song “Knock You Down” with rappers Kanye West and Ne-Yo. The competition here is stiff, with other noms going to heavy hitting combinations like Beyonce-Kanye West for “Ego,” Jay-Z/Rihanna/Kanye for “Run This Town,” and T.I./Justin Timberlake for “Dead and Gone.”
Who will take home the prizes? Tune in and find out! The 52nd Grammy Awards airs on January 31, 2010, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, on CBS at 8pm (EST).
